Troopers in Saratoga County were called at around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, for a vehicle that was intentionally trying to strike children in Halfmoon on Ocean Spray Boulevard, according to New York State Police.

An investigation found that Edward Storms, of Halfmoon, got into an argument with the victims and then “recklessly operated his vehicle,” nearly hitting the two kids, according to police.

Neither child was injured.

Storms was arrested at his home on suspicion of reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was issued an appearance ticket to the Halfmoon Town Court on Wednesday, Aug. 23, and was released.
